 Christmas Morning

Where Mom and Dad were up before the kids sipping on their coffee wondering when the kids would FINALLY awake!!!

 

 

Christmas Baking

We made a ginger bread house that just WOULD NOT stay together!!  That is why I always by the pre built ones. LOL  Next year Mom will buy the house not Dad. ;)

We made snowman cookies that the kidlets LOVED!!!

We made chocolate chip cookies too!

And last but not least we made 3 loafs of banana chocolate chip bread and 3 loaves of banana bread.

YUMMY!!

Supper was delicious!! It was a GREAT evening of fun and visiting!!

Christmas With Es 2012

Es's Mom was so thoughtful!! She not only bought a gift for Meme but also for Ba and for myself.  She really made Ba's day and made him feel really special because not only did Es buy Meme a gift BUT she bought him a gift too!!  I could not say thank you enough to her for doing that!!

She must of taken notes from when Es helped her out. LOL

Ba really likes his gift from Es!!

 

 

All the kids think 'Man this crazy lady wants ANOTHER picture of us!!!'  And I reply 'Yep!! I am a picture freak!!! LOL'

Unfortunately I couldn't get all 3 to look at me at once...so I had to go with the best of the bunch.

Decorating The Christmas Tree 2012

This year was a hard year for us to decide on a REAL tree or a FAKE tree...

in the end a FAKE tree won because we did not want all the needles in our home.  It is bad enough we get ALL the needles from the trees in our front lawn in our home.

 

Than I set up our fake tree and well I was very unhappy with it.  Look how pitiful it looks!!  I thought long and hard about it.  Than decided I wanted either a real tree or a new fake tree.  After seeing how expensive a new fake tree would be I, being my hubby LOL, decided that we would just go with what we had.

 

So here we go...

We were told to "SHHHHHH" because the babies were sleeping in the tree.

Meme found a Minnie Mouse in the box and decided that was her ornament of the year.

But it was really a Penguin because she LOVES penguins but it was broken so I had to exchange it.

All decorated!!  But the Santa bell and Snowman bell were not allowed to stay on the tree!!

Nutcrackers have crashed!!  Stuffed animals have made a home under the tree!!  But the tree is decorated now!

So on December 1 2012 our tree was put up!!  Our kids are super excited about Christmas this year I can hardly wait for Christmas Day!!

 

Presents were put under the tree December 2 2012, oh how I love being done shopping by December 1 2012!!!

Wrapping Presents

But Mom played a trick on him and told him he had to wait till Christmas!!  I wish my camera was ready for a picture because his face was PRICELESS!!!

 

Overall the party was ok.  Not much for Meme to do there and well I didn't know anyone either.  There were 3 other parties going on too so it was SUPER CROWDED!!!  But Tornado had a BLAST so that made it worth while for me!!

 

Christmas Recap 2010

This year for Tornado it was all about Toy Story!!

He really got Christmas this year and was super excited!! Christmas Eve we kept checking in on where Santa was with the Santa Tracker Online.

The day started off with myself being up at 630am watching for the boys to wake up. Hubby woke up at about 730ish and Tornado about 800ish.

We opened presents and just took our time...I think we were opening presents until about 1000am. It was Mom, Dad, Tornado and Grandpa D.

After present opening we cooked up a delicious breakfast.

After breakfast we started the battle on opening the presents and playing with them...this took us until Dec. 27th to get fully organized and complete!! Actually I am still not 100% done and it is Dec. 29 2010. LOL BUT it is good enough for me...now I will just slowly finish up.

Than at about 200ish we made our way to Grandma D. and Papy's house. There we played Mario Party 8 and had dinner. And of course we visited too. We made the journey back home at about 900ish.

Phew!! It was a fun filled day but we were sure ready for bed.

Very excited over the shark!! He dropped everything to go and grab his alligator like it.

This was the last gift he got to open...but before he opened it we told him they were all done and his response "OK lets go to Grandma and Papy's house now."

Than he found this last gift and well forgot about leaving our house. LOL

Mom and Dad had told Tornado that Santa does not bring guns and well usually little boys do not get toy guns for Christmas.

SO He was SUPER Excited about this one!! He told everyone he talked to about it and made them listen to the horrible sound it makes. LOL
