Friday Night Leftovers!!

WOW!! I have missed FNL the past few weeks and not because of lack of things to say!! I have LOTS to say just not LOTS of time!!

~First things first...this week has been a very trying week with my 4, almost 5 year old son!! He got in trouble at school. SERIOUS TROUBLE TOO!! Than he has seemed to misplace his listening ears too. Does anyone know where I can purchase listening ears?!?! If so please do share.

~I went and made a HUGE mistake well paying bills last month. I decided it would be a good idea to pay my OLD cell bill instead of the family plan. The plan is under hubby's name so now he is NOT impressed because he gets the late payment hit not me. We only found out I did this now when the new bill comes in and is 335.00 bucks!! Ooops.

~On the cell bill note: Rogers is STUPID!! They REFUSE to transfer the payment from my old account to the new account!! WHY?!?! They would receive the payment WAY faster...but NOOOO I had to contact the bank and get them to request payment back...than the bank will give me the money back...than Rogers will get their money. Makes NO sense to me at all!!!

~We had a few nice days and now the cold wet snowy weather has returned. DEPRESSING!! I just want spring to come!! Maybe Tornado does too and this is why he is acting up...

~We got a new BBQ and WOW rotisserie roast on it is AMAZING!!! YUMMY!! BUT I had a huge disappointment Monday when I went to get it all ready to find out that you can not use it when windy. Umm Monday it was 50km/hr winds with wind gusts up to 60km/hr. I was so sad Monday night BUT Tuesday when I bite into the roast took all the disappointment away!!

~I was able to help my Dad out and donate our old BBQ to him. He LOVES it!! How I love making people happy...if I could afford it I would have bought him a new one too...but I'm not rich. LOL

~Today I take my baby girl for her 2 month needles...so not looking forward to this. Wish me luck!! :(

~Tornado has started swimming lessons...oh how he loves them!! I just love watching him and seeing the excitement/joy on his face!! :)

~I have a bottle waiting on the coffee table for Meme...but I must go to the washroom before I begin her morning feed. Tornado yells 'Mom Meme is VERY hungry!' I reply 'Yes hun I know but I just had to go to the washroom first.' I walk into the living room and there is my son feeding his sister!! It was so very cute!! I wish I could have gotten a picture!!

Friday Night Leftovers

~It was a few weeks back but...I really HATE losing time!! I am all for when we gain that hour in the fall BUT when we lose an hour...ARGH!!!

~Did you know that IF and WHEN you get your tubes tied it is just a 1/500 chance of not getting pregnant!!! Here I thought it was a sure thing...100% no question. Today I learnt something new!!

~ARGH!!! It is snowing like crazy again!! It is really hard to believe that Spring arrived Sunday!!

~Hubby started his construction business this past week...here is to hoping it all goes well!!

~ WOW!! I did not know a baby could spit up so much and still remain hydrated!! Meme had a bad day for this on Tuesday and it had Momma so worried.

~ It was so very nice to sleep in a bed instead of on the couch...I hope this continues.

~ Meme is now moved into 3-6 month clothes. :( They grow so fast.

~ A baby's soother is a mothers snooze button!!

~ We have received SOOO much snow this week!! I am really missing spring and being able to go outside to play. SPRING please come fast...or maybe just jump right to SUMMER. Wishful thinking EH?!?

~We had a really good sleeping pattern going on...key word HAD!! This week Meme has decided to throw it out the back door and that Mommy does NOT need anymore sleep than 4 hours!!

~I am sure there is more to post BUT my brain is gone this week...maybe I will catch up next week!!

Friday Night Leftovers

WOW What A Busy Week!!!

~ This week has been a deep freeze where I live!! I have not wanted to leave my house BUT had no choice because Tornado has preschool to attend. How cold you might ask? Well it was -35c to -40c with the windchill most of the week. The warmest was Thursday but it was still -25c with the windchill!!

~The whole family went to the Home and Garden show on Sunday. I had a really good time and Tornado left with a bag full of goodies. He was in heaven because he received about 10 pens!! (He just LOVES his pens!!) Hubby was disappointed because he wanted to see tools and well there were none!! LOL

~Meme is now a month and the Quack-a-doodle-do of a doctor we used to see just phoned this week to see when we were coming in for her check up!! I responded 'Umm never. We have switched doctors.'

~We go on a trip to Red Deer and I think I pack everything, now it feels like I pack up my house every time we go out, but to my surprise I go and forget Tornado's inhaler. What a thing to forget!! Hubby ended up running to Costco out there and getting a new one.

~Monday Meme loved me and slept for 7hrs!! But than she hated me and had 3 rough nights in a row!! We will get it down to a science!!

~Took Tornado on a play date Thursday. He had such a good time and so did Mom, it was nice having an adult conversation well Tornado played other children!! (Thursday was the day he was supposed to be going to the Zoo with his school BUT holy cow it was too cold for that!!)

~With this freezing weather our furnace decided to stop working!! Thankfully Atco was able to get here fast to fix it. Well they did not fix it, Hubby did. For them to fix it they would have charge $100.00 BUT for Hubby to fix it it cost $30.00!! BIG DIFFERENCE! But lets face it I didn't care how much it cost I wanted heat!!!

Friday Night Leftovers

~ It's Saturday and Hubby is working. This is the second Saturday in a row he has worked...how strange it feels without him home. Not that he would do much if he was here. It just messes up the routine of our house.

~ Calgary Flames won the heritage classic game...Hubby says it is because the Habs could not stop laughing!! Did you happen to see the jerseys they were wearing? Absolutely UGLY!!

~ Asked Hubby to change Meme's bum the other day, because I was busy, he had the nerve to say NO. When I asked why he simply responded 'because I don't want to.' What an Ass!!

~Meme is now a month old and Hubby has yet to fed her or change her bum!!

~ WOW!! Asked Hubby to take out the trash over the weekend and well he blew up!!! YIKES

~ Did you know that Employment Insurance can make you pay back some of the money you claimed when you do your taxes!! Yep you read that right, they sure can!!
Hubby and I got our taxes done this week and to our surprise we had to pay back 30% of the money he claimed on EI!! WHAT BS!!!

~ My lovely 1 month old baby thought it would be fun to keep Mommy up all night long!! 3 nights in a row!! There is no napping happening in my house either with a 4.5 year old son.
I am trying to figure out if she just hates me or if it is gas or something else!!!

~Winter is never going to end!!

Today it is -40c with the wind chill!!

Yesterday it was -36c with the wind chill, when I woke up.

BRRRRRRR!!!!!!
