Week 33 With Baby Surprise

Today, Dec 27 2010, was my doctors appointment.

Weight ~ 152 pounds FINALLY a good 2 weeks!! I am unsure how I did this through the Christmas weeks but I will take it!! I must mention I did ask about the weight gain because well I am concerned. I started out at 105 pounds and now look at the horrible weight!! The doctor said it was perfectly normal and I was under weight to begin with SO not to be concerned.

Blood Pressure ~ 117/69

Belly ~ Measuring a bit big but the doctor is still happy. Totally forgot to ask the measurement, that is what happens when the appointment is at 810am.

Baby's Heartbeat ~ was really good...but again I forgot to ask.

Wanna compare to my last check up...31 weeks update

Now onto the more exciting things...

What has happened in the past two weeks with my baby girl:

~WOW!! Baby girl have you ever given Mommy swollen hands and feet these past few weeks. I don't recall getting this with your big brother Tornado BUT than again I was on bed rest at 26 weeks with him.

~Most nights I get such restless sleeps. Constant tossing and turning. Hips get so very sore too.

~Mom and Dad have changed your name. I think this one will stick. It took a bit of convincing to get your big brother Tornado on board BUT now he has a perfect nick name for you: Meme. So with this nickname it makes it all OK!

~The craving for Coffee is ever so strong now!!! When I get home from the hospital after you are born I am having a BIG plate of sausage, cheese, crackers and pickles with a POT of coffee!!

~Mommy wants to get ready and is nesting like crazy. Daddy says "Just let future Mom and Dad do it."

~I have managed to get your bassinet washed and set up. It was a gift from Grandma C. and it is absolutely beautiful!! Your big brother keeps on playing with the mobile that is with it.

~This past week I had the worst sore throat ever and the aches and pains in all my muscles. I was worried I was getting that horrible cold that is going around BUT thankfully after a good nights sleep it seems to be drifting off.

~Week 32 and this week too I have been getting lots of braxton hicks. Baby girl you have to stay put inside Mommy until Feb. 2011 please!!

~Christmas presents you received:
*Great Grandma L got you receiving blankets
*Grandpa D. got you $50 at Babies R Us, don't worry Mommy will buy good stuff with it.
*Grandma and Papy got you a playmate, receiving blankets, a bib, a toy for your car seat, a blanket, burp blankets.

Well this about sums up the past two weeks!!

Christmas Recap 2010

This year for Tornado it was all about Toy Story!!
He really got Christmas this year and was super excited!! Christmas Eve we kept checking in on where Santa was with the Santa Tracker Online.
The day started off with myself being up at 630am watching for the boys to wake up. Hubby woke up at about 730ish and Tornado about 800ish.
We opened presents and just took our time...I think we were opening presents until about 1000am. It was Mom, Dad, Tornado and Grandpa D.
After present opening we cooked up a delicious breakfast.
After breakfast we started the battle on opening the presents and playing with them...this took us until Dec. 27th to get fully organized and complete!! Actually I am still not 100% done and it is Dec. 29 2010. LOL BUT it is good enough for me...now I will just slowly finish up.
Than at about 200ish we made our way to Grandma D. and Papy's house. There we played Mario Party 8 and had dinner. And of course we visited too. We made the journey back home at about 900ish.
Phew!! It was a fun filled day but we were sure ready for bed.

The face says it all :)

Very excited over the shark!! He dropped everything to go and grab his alligator like it.

This was the last gift he got to open...but before he opened it we told him they were all done and his response "OK lets go to Grandma and Papy's house now."
Than he found this last gift and well forgot about leaving our house. LOL
Mom and Dad had told Tornado that Santa does not bring guns and well usually little boys do not get toy guns for Christmas.
SO He was SUPER Excited about this one!! He told everyone he talked to about it and made them listen to the horrible sound it makes. LOL

Getting Ready For Santa 2010

This was the ending to our very busy day...

First we cooked up a batch of M&M Cookies for Santa

Than we got 9 carrots ready for the Reindeer

Tornado attempted to pour Santa's milk all by himself.
But there was a bit of a spill...OOPS

Now time for the cookies

Don't forget the extra noses for Rudolph.

Now that looks like a good snack!!

"BUT WAIT" Tornado says "I have to write a note for Santa!!"

Tornado informed us that Santa would write him back a note...
because he seen it on T.V.

The finished product!!

Tornado was right!! Santa wrote him back!!!

Christmas Eve 2010 Recap

Christmas Eve was a very busy day in my house...I do not think I sat down all day long!! My ankles were SO swollen at the end of the day...but it was all worth it.
First Tornado had to finish the craft projects he was working on for his Grandparents.

He also had to finish painting the picture frames for his preschool picture.
Next year I have to remember that doing this many at one time is TOO much for a preschool boy!! We will have to break it up next year.

Than we moved onto making the gingerbread house!!
Yes I did cheat and buy an already assembled house.

Good thinking on Dad's part: We broke out more candy for the house too!! The little balls and red candies were not enough.

Posing for a picture.

The finished product!!
Tornado called it Santa's workshop.

Also in the making of the house there were candies eaten by EVERYONE!! What fun would it be if you could not "test" the candy!!??!!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Other things/projects I had to complete on this day:
~We went shopping, yes I am crazy for venturing out, for PJ's for Christmas Eve. But Dad had mentioned getting new PJ's a few days before and Tornado was not letting us forget this. Believe it or not Wal-mart was not that busy OR we just shopped where the crowd was not.
We also grabbed a few knickknacks, one being a present for Dad. BUT when we got home what does the little turkey do...he goes into the bags and gives Dad the present we just bought him. LOL
~Baked banana bread for Christmas Day, which never even got touched. LOL
~Baked M&M Cookies for Santa
~Cleaned the house so it was nice and clean for Christmas
~Caught up on laundry
~Had a mini panic attack because Tornado started to get a rash/hives and well I had just tossed his allergy medicine because it was expired. Yes, I sure did have it on the list for grocery shopping BUT that would not help NOW. It was about 8:00pm and everything that I knew was closed. SO, I decided to try calling Shoppers to see if it was open....OMG they were!! So off to the store I went. In the end it cleared up on its own BUT Murphy's law is that it would have gotten worse if I didn't get the medicine.
I think about wraps it up...but I could be wrong.
