4 1/2 Year Update

WOW I can not believe it has already been 4 1/2 years since you were born!! From the moment you came into our lives you have brought nothing but happiness!!

Here are some interesting facts about you:

• You still refuse to eat mashed potatoes. You have not liked them from day one and every time I try to give them to you it is a no go. BUT you do like hashbrowns, that is something new. You LOVE your french fries!! You will eat cubed potatoes cooked in the oven too. Just not mashed potatoes or pan fries!!


• You LOVE spinach!! You will eat a whole bowl of it at once. BUT it needs to be fresh and not cooked.


• The only veggies you like are spinach, lettuce, celery, carrots and peas in a pod. BUT again they have to fresh and not cooked.


• You are slowly starting to eat beef and pork BUT would much rather have chicken.


• Fruit is not a problem for you to eat...I think you could live on it and be perfectly happy.


• You really like Pizza Gold Fish and THEY stink...so I try to just give them to you at preschool. LOL


• You are not a big candy eater. If you had the choice between chips or chocolate...CHIPS win...just like Mommy. I actually just threw out LOTS of your Halloween candy from last year.


• You are really excited about having a baby sister and tell everyone that YOU are having a baby sister!! You sing to her almost everyday and when you do she just starts dancing around in my belly!! You LOVE feeling her move. :)


• You are one of the most stubborn preschoolers I have ever met!!! I swear you think you are 4 going on 14!! You give us challenges everyday because of this.


• You still LOVE to snuggle with Mommy and Daddy!! We thought by this age you would be pushing us away, thank goodness you are not. :) You always tell us "I need a snuggle buddy!"


• Since you have started going to preschool we have noticed a great improvement in your speech!!


• You LOVE to talk and really never shut up...even when it matters. Instead of talking loudly you will just whisper. LOL


• You don't like sleep yet. You are a handful of energy from the time you wake up until you go to bed. Most people think I am kidding about this but really I am not...YOU NEVER STOP!!! You are up at 7:00-7:30am EVERYDAY and go to bed, with a fight, about 9:00-10:00pm.


• Activities that you like: playing your video games, just like Daddy!! Some of your favorite games are Indiana Jones The Adventure Continues, Mario on the Wii, Lego Star Wars The Complete Saga. You like Halo too but Mom has taken it away for a bit because you get too violent when you play it, we will try again in a bit. This drives me NUTS!! But I tell myself you are a boy and well Dad likes them too...it doesn't help me much. LOL You also like to do crafts, glue, cut and draw. You like to help us out with the cooking and baking too. Some days you will sit and play with your Lego for hours too.


• You don't play with your toys much. When you have a playmate over you make a horrible mess with your toys BUT that is really the only time. Every now and than you will take out a few toys and play that is about all.


• You are starting to get to know how to run a computer better. I decided you needed to learn this before you start kindergarten. Your favorite sites are PBS Kids and Playhouse Disney.


• Some of your favorite shows are: Imaginations Movers, Out Of The Box, Magic School Bus, Johnny Test, Bugs Bunny and Tweety Show, George Shrinks.


• When you grow up you want to be a Police Officer.


• You really like the side kicks for shows: Your favorite from Batman is Robin. Your favorite from Mario is Luigi. The only main character you like is the HULK...but he doesn't have a side kick or maybe this is why. LOL


• It is hard for Mom and Dad to find you toys that you would REALLY like because you are into Indiana Jones and the Hulk!! Those toys are IMPOSSIBLE to find!!
  

I think this about wraps up my update for you. I could go on and on about you because you give me so many things to write about!! I just want to make sure we have something to go back on to see the things you liked/disliked when you grow up. You grow up and change so fast that sometimes it is hard to capture the precious moments and remember them all.

You are loved very much by all your family and we all just love seeing you grow into your own person!!
